Danza Perfumi, Barro, 2023

In  Danza Perfumi, and in  line with these recent exhibitions and the work that the painter has been carrying out for years in the international scene, Seeber's proposal deepens a way of understanding painting as an environmental device. Curated by Sonia Becce, the exhibition displays a series of works of recent production along with others made during the last fifteen years, which return to a human figuration. The bodies, which unfold and retract, placed in scenes in movement, coexist with early and exceptional works by Jorge Gumier Maier, to build a space halfway between parade and choreography. Thus, turned into a rehearsal room, Danza Perfumi expands into a program of classes 'Pasos y Poses', coordinated by Rita Pauls, with the presence of Emiliano Miliyo, Zezé Fassmor, Moli La Exilia and Gali DunDun as teachers. As Mariano Lopez points out in his text: "these bodies are far from becoming the center of attention and declaring their protagonism, insinuating that they are just one of the necessary elements for the unfolding of a larger show, which exceeds them, contains them and situates them".   The exhibition is accompanied by a fanzine produced and edited and designed by Laura Escobar & Alejandra  Seeber with texts by Sonia Becce and Mariano Lopez Seoane. https://www.alejandraseeber.com/all-the-rest/danza-perfumi-fanzine/
